Hello,

Recently i`ve taken the IELTS exam with the following scores:

S=7 W=7 L=6 R=5 overall 6.5

Its stated that for NOC B we should have CLB 7 which means we should have 6 6 6 6 and all four categories.

Is this information correct? If so Do i have a chance with my score 5 which is 1 score less than the required one? I mean is there a chance for them to balance this score 5 with my two 7`s ?

Thank you so much!

Your score is too low to immigrate. You need a minimum of 6 in every single category.

if the minimum is 6 and i've got 7 7 6 5, that's far away from being too low as you said.

Thank you.

I understand your disappointment, but the comment just shows how strict immigration works. I'm really surprised, if your speaking and writing is 7 how can your reading be only 5? Writing 7 is really hard to reach, so your are really close to get good results. You should take a new IELTS and with a 7ish avarage you would get much more CRS scores as well.

Good luck!

that comment didn't make sense as there is a difference between not having the minimums and 'too low' scores.

Yes, one of my immigration consultants who worked for Canadian immigration for 17 years told me its possible to balance the scores as i have band scores higher than the minimum which is 6.

Taking another IELTS exam will be a good idea if its not just gonna help me to reach the minimums but also getting even more points to immigrate if i succeed.

Thanks for your encouragement in some way!
