It's been 2 months and I still haven't gotten any update, should I ask for the GCMS notes?

I applied in September for winter 2021. My application was complete, I am done with medical, biometrics and police clearance too. I applied through SDS and it is supposed to take 20 days, I do understand that due to corona it will take more than that, but in 2 weeks they still haven't started processing my application and I still haven't gotten any update.
"Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility." This is written in front of eligibility.


Should I ask for the GCMS notes? To see if any work on my application has started yet or not.

No. Wait until it changes to "we are currently reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements or not". Then apply for notes

My condition is same like you brother. I have applied on 15th october and DLI got approved on 3rd November but nothing has changed yet for winterintake

I might be wrong, but based on what I see on this forum, I guess IRCC hasn't begun processing any applications submitted after Sept 15th for the winter intake. I couldn't find a single thread where someone's eligibility review has begun or received any decision on their application.

I'm in the same boat as you, applied Sept 24th and no updates since then.

You can apply for your GCMS but it seems like they've not even touched your application yet, so the notes might just come back blank.

It depends on the office handling your application. Some people got refused already (ones who applied after 15th). Onr applicant here is still waiting from March without their eligibility reviewed. Once your status change, as I mentioned, order your notes
