Hey guys,

I know the application guidelines tell us to include things like phone bills, emails to eachother, etc.... but if I do not have things like that what else can I use as proof for our relationship?

So far I only have about 50 photos. We are planning on getting my spouse's ex-boss who knew of our relationship to sign a letter that says he knows our relationship is genuine. I also want to include a document of proof(change of adress etc.) that I have been living with my spouse's family for the last year.

Can you guys help me out with some more items that may be good to include in our application?

Thank you:)

Any proof that you've visited each other, before you lived together--print outs of itineraries are good. Photocopies of passport stamps, boarding passes are better--that's proof you actually went, instead of just buying the tickets and refunding them later.
Receipts of anything you've bought each other. Wedding band receipt?
Any evidence of any joint property. Do you have a joint bank account?

Well I've actually been living with my spouses family in Japan for the past year and a half but since I am a PR I have to go back to Canada to send the application. So yes I have many documents that proves I have been living here such as a Japanese driver's license, pay stubs from work in Japan, contracts of my work, juminhyo(place of residence) changed to my spouse's home, etc.

So it's not technically a 'visit' but I came to live with my spouse, which I think is even better. We got married here in Japan last December and I will be heading back to Canada in a few weeks so I can get things moving on the application.
