Hello guys, Need a few clarifications
1. I was refused visa into the uk. Do I need to answer a yes on the statutuory questions. Should I say yes, will it affect my chances of getting selected.

2. Was reading elsewhere on the forum where they said your letters of reference has to state permanent fulltime. Does that involve everybody or just those working in Canada.
Thanks.

Answer Yes to both questions. It won't have an impact on your application unless you were involved in criminal activities which led to such refusal or eviction.

This is only for applicants with an LMIA supported job offer.

Thanks.

Need an expert advice here URGENTLY.

I received the invitation to apply on 17th July 2015 but I have few concerns for which I need your expert advice on. Please be patient to read the below case carefully and advise.

My passport/travel document has given name as FIRST and LAST name....and my surname in passort/travel document is blank. While creating the online Express Entry profile, it is mandatory to fill the surname without which it does not allow you to go to the next page. Hence, I created my EE profile with LAST NAME as surname...but this is different from what is mentioned in passport/travel document. Do I change my name in travel document/passport to reflect same as Express Entry online profile name??? If I do this, then my IELTS exam report has name as per passport. So if I change my name in passport, then it will be different name from my IELTS exam. Getting IELTS exam dates is very difficult and also I fear that my score may go down if I re-appear for IELTS in my changed name and my ITA may become invalid. Please advise. I'm showing the name below as how it appears on these different documents/system:

My passport/travel document name and IELTS name are same BUT it is different in Express Entry PROFILE NAME.

IN PASSPORT:
GIVEN NAME: ANIL KUMAR
SURNAME:_______

IN IELTS:
GIVEN NAME: ANIL KUMAR
SURNAME:_______

IN EXPRESS ENTRY PROFILE:
GIVEN NAME: ANIL
SURNAME: KUMAR

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO WHOEVER ANSWERS TO THIS QUESTION. REALLY GRATEFUL INDEED.

Try and change it in the post ITA profile to match your passport. If the system doesn't allow the change now, add a Letter of Explanation for this in the same section where you upload your passport.

This isn't a major issue so don't worry about it.

Hi Asivad,

I have few question post ITA.

1) First question is regarding Passport document: Do we have to scan all pages including blank pages in that document? As per CIC they have stated that:

You must provide a clear, legible copy of your valid passport.
Include a copy of the page that shows your birth date, country of origin, etc. any pages with stamps, visas or markings. If you are a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, a citizen of Denmark living in Greenland, or a citizen of France living in St. Pierre and Miquelon, you are not required to present a passport. You may present an identity document. Your identity document must show proof of status or citizenship as well as photo identification. Your identity document must include your name, photo, date of birth, document number, and the issue and expiry dates. This document must be issued by your country of citizenship or permanent residence. You must ensure that the identity document you present provides proof of status or citizenship and photo identification. If not, you must scan all necessary identity documents and save them under one identity document file.

2) Where do I put my Visa records for Canada? Work permit and study permit and all document. Means in which section?

As per my checklist I require to submit following documents:

Employment records
Passport or travel document
Digital Photo
Bank statement for proof of means of finance
medical record
Educational diplomas and degrees
Police certificate

3) Also where to upload IELTS test records means in which section from above? (Under Education section ?)

4) And where can I put my CRA assessment NOA and T4 should I put it under Employment records?

5) Also I have ECA report for my Bachelor of Engineering and I have 1 year Post graduate Certificate from Canada. So what document should I put under Education diplomas and degrees?

6) Should I put ECA report, transcript and degree for Bachelor or just ECA report???
And should I put degree certificate and transcript for Canadian Post Graduate ????
Do I require to attest and of these Educational documents or just Scan copy is good enough????

7) Also for Employment records: I am thinking to put my offer letter, employer reference or experience letter, pay stubs, T4, NOA, Work permit.... So is this enough to support my experience????

Please advice also input from any other is also welcome....
I just want to complete all procedure without any error so having lots of questions...

Thank you in advance....
Can you post the link to that thread? I am unable to find it ntwkengg.
These questions and the answers are really useful. Thanks for posting.

For medical check, where do I get form : Medical Report form (IMM 1017E) ? Will the approved physician provide it ? Link on CIC website mentions that i need to take it by myself.

Check with your panel physician for eMedical facility. Worth traveling a bit further to any clinic which runs on eMedical. No forms needed, book an appointment and show up on that date with a copy of the ITA letter and other identification documents that the clinic will tell you to bring.

Book an appointment ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

Read about Medicals ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

Thanks Asivad for your help. A great support to the entire community. :) :) :) :)

Do you have some experience with the follow questions:

1. In the form, there is a line: Police Clearance certificate for ________________(Country) -> Which country shall I fill here ? India or Canada ?See attached pic for reference

2. What is the photo size which needs to be attached to the application form to be sent to Indian Consulate in San Francisco ? See attached pic for reference. The measurement of that box is 35 mm by 35 mm

3. How long is the process ? I will be sending it ASAP

4. I have already sent my FBI Background check in June. Is there a way to check the progress on that ? It takes 3 months which will just be a cut off date for submission of final docs.

Canada. Of course, the Indian government will issue a PCC for India only, this appears to be the country which requires the PCC.

No idea. Check Indian passport regulations - should be the same size as that.

Not sure. Members have commented that it might take up to 4 weeks.

1. India
2. 35mm*35mm. Don't paste phots. Just put all the photos in one envolpe and attach it with the form.
3. check the website. I belive they say 4-6 weeks.
Call the consulate and ask. They have a call center and they can answer all the queries.
