Hello all!
I JUST got back from Rome where my fiance had his medical exam done! We also went to the Embassy because I needed to sign and affidavit in order to receive my Nulla Osta...now, we can get married! We were fortunate to sit down with a WONDERFUL woman at the Embassy who gave us tons of great information on the immigration process. She ASSURED me that they are processing spousal applicants in about 6 months....so, I don't know where Alberto got his information from, but I got it straight from the source!
I also have a question about photos: My fiance had his done in the DEDEM photobooth. I told him that I don't think they are acceptable, but they do meet the specifications of size, colour, etc. Anyway, we used them at the medical exam and they said they were fine. Do they know about this though? Also, we didn't write the date they were taken on the back. Is this only for the application photos? Also, IF we have any doubts about photos, is it worth taking another set and sending them with the application? Will it matter if the medical photos are from the first batch? I'm worried about our application being rejected for something so trivial! Please help!
Thanks in advance!
Julia
