Hi, it has to be the new one as the older one is generated under a different category, which was student permit.

This is absolutely incorrect. The UCI never changes, the one generated by the system is irrelevant and once the applicant passes his/her medicals it will be updated to the unique one (old one).

Hello,

I got stuck at a point regarding proof of funds. I am planning to get some funds transferred from my parents from their joint account to my account in India and later get a gift deed on an affidavit but since its their joint account, both of them will not be able to be present infront of the notary to sign the affidavit as my father will be traveling to India in few days whereas my mother will be here in the UAE with me. Currently, since my both parents are together in the UAE so I am thinking to get their signature on aplain paper with the same content like affidavit and attach in my post ita documents.

please confirm if this will be fine or we really require addidavit on a stamp paper?

Yo guys, I made a mistake in my profile before receiving the ITA, i mistakenly marked country of birth as Pakistan although it was saudia arabia, so do I need to decline the ITA or this is a minor mistake ?:confused:

Hello,

I was granted a Canadian Tourist Visa last 2015 and I'd like to ask the following:

1. Does this mean that I should have a UCI from my tourist application?
2. Should I answer "Yes" to the question Have you applied to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada before?

If you are extremely confident, go for it. Validity of PCC of home country is 6 months usually and should be valid till AOR

Thanks for replying !!
I'm confident because my CRS score now is 948.. So I can't miss ITA in next draw.. that's why I asked..

Donot worry, you sort of need to fill the form again anyways.
As long as your score is above the draw score you can change anything you want.

Thank you that's what I'll do
Additional question, like tourist visa does the passport need to be valid for 6 more months before you land ?
My passport expires in march 2019. I donot want to renew it in right now as its just too much of work (3 addresses in past 4 years)

Ah just go ahead. Moreover if your current address is same as your passport they might give you PCC right away.
My wife got PCC in 5 mins, mine is going to take ages.

Everyone needs to fill an entire "new" application after receiving ITA, so just change it there. You can do any changes, as long as your score doesn't drop below the cut-off.

When was your wife's passport issued ?
I visited PSK and they told me for all passports issued in 2017 and 2018,PCC will be given on same day.

HELLO!
I have a doubt with regard to PoF.
I have a joint account with my father and i am the primary account holder. I have maintained the required minimum amount as per cic guidelines since last 6 months. What would be the best step for me to take?
1.)Should i get an affidavit from my father stating that he has no objections whatsoever if i use the funds from the account for the purpose of settling in c
Canada?

2.) Should i make a fresh account, transfer the money from my joint account (but dont know what kind of affidavit would be required)

3.) Ask my father to transfer the money from his account and get a gift deed?

What option would be preferable? Also, have you gone through similar situations? If yes how did it work out for you?

Thanks so much!

Well if you are the primary account holder there shouldn't be any issues.. because when we get a bank statement it will only have name of primary account holder !!
