ITA received. What's the waiting period after this?

I am kind of worried about the NOC thing. My job isn't one of those that can find accurate match in NOC list. Would this be a problem? I heard that they are pretty flexible in Express Entry (unlike in provincial nomination programs, where they tend to be very particular about the job category).

They don't expect exactly accurate match in the Noc.
What I mean to say is they don't expect job 'title' to be exact, but what important is the job 'duties' of the Noc you are applying for.

Even in that Noc,
The rule is such that
'all' of the essential duties must be similar to the given Noc.
And
Many of the 'main' duties should match.

If the Noc which you applied for finds this criterion matched, then I don't think you should be worried,as long as essential duties match.

Thanks a lot. I'm submitting my application next week. I am the vice president of a test-prep school (which also does college counseling), and I picked 0651 as my NOC. Hopefully there won't be any problem.

Have you submitted? Do you need help with choosing an appropriate NOC Code? We can search together. You'll have to choose the NOC code that is most suitable to your JD.... it doesn't necessarily have to match their description 100% but should be close... say about 80%.
