ITA received under CEC - question about proof of funds

Hello All,

There are tons of useful threads on this forum page and Thank to you all for the valuable Information.

I received my ITA on 1st of March draw. In my original Express Entry profile, I Showed $13500 funds.

but as per the new laws for proof of funds, people applying through CEC don't need to show the funds:

My question: is it okay to change the amount of funds from $13500 to $0 in my PR file?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

if you got invitation under cec, just write a letter to the officer, stating that your application has been selected under CEC and by the rules have to not include any proof of funds and if you are working , just attach your six m onths paystubs and you should be fine.

I am completeing the POST ITA application and one of the question is about funds. I guess I am changing it to $0 now. can anyone please confirm?

You can change it to $0 or leave it as is and upload the letter in the POF placeholder.
