ITA received, meds passed/waiting background check pls connect here

It's been a month today since I submitted my application. Got an update on the 2nd day that medicals have passed and background check has started (May 11th).

Since then, it's been a standstill. ECAS shows Application received (again since May 11th).

Applying from within Canada with FSW for NOC0621. 510 Points

Just curious, how did you get that score without Canadian work experience (seeing that you're FSW, not CEC)? Are you a PhD/frankophone?
 
I qualified for both FSW and CEC. Both my wife and I got top marks for IELTS. I did my bachelors as well as a Post Graduate Diploma. Both my wife and I got our ECA's done. Have more than 3 years of foreign experience and more than one year of Canadian experience.

No PhD and not a francophone.

Ah, you're CEC who got ITA as a FSW. Thanks for the answer!
 
I actually preferred FSW.

Hey bud...same thing for me as well..since April 20th...
 
I am presently in India and have applied from India but I have one year experience in Canada.

I got my background check to In Progress on the same day I got my medicals passed.

I got the ITA for FSW...
 
Can somebody tell how long on average it takes, when status changes for background check "In progress" to the next step?
