ITA Received - IELTS expired shortly after - advice needed

I received an ITA towards the end of January and my IELTS expired at the beginning of February.

I have since re-done my IELTS exam (today in fact), so will have the results before the end of the 90 days that you have to submit your full application.

My question is, can I just update my profile with my new IELTS test once I've received it? Or do I have to decline the ITA and hope I get picked to do another one?

You can use the new results but you have to make sure that if you score lower on your test your CRS is still above the cutoff score for the draw for which you were invited.

Is it like IELTS has to be valid for 6 more months at the time of ITA? Also, if I write IELTS again and score is less than the one that I applied , and CRS is more than the cutoff for which I got ITA. Is that okay? How can we upload new IELTS ?

I have received my ITA In June 2021 and then uploaded all my required documents on 31-August-2021. I already done with my biometrics . Its been 7 months completed on 31 march.
Contacted ircc being told that application is under process and still doing background check.
