I received ITA and I am just wondering How do I show the bank transactions I did in India. What I can produce is online statement because I am already in Canada.

Should that work fine?

Hi You can walk to Bank in Canada and get the Bank Statement. For Transaction in India, you can get online Statement. Otherwise request Bank Statement get it posted to Canada, it takes hardly 2 weeks of time by that time you make your other document ready

do u need bank certificate showing the account balance or detailed statements.....if statements are required how old are required......because it used to be just bank certificate indicating the balance not the statements
thanks

If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile.

Your financial profile includes a listing of all your bank (chequing and savings) and investment accounts. The official letter must be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and must include your name, the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address), the account numbers, dates of when each account was opened and the balance of each account over the previous 6 months.

You must scan all proof of funds documents and save them as one file.

This is what it says. I will call CIC and will update when they have to say.

Hi,
I have received ITA and in the personal activities form they are asking for each activity like educational, employment,Military, organisation etc during the past 10 years and they also told in the form that there should be no gaps in the time.
My question is I am working from last ten years but there was also time when i was unemployed now how can i show that Gap as they are saying there should be no Gap in time and there is no option to select unemployed also, really confused....

I just called my bank and requested an official letter indicating my financial profile just as CIC has asked. The bank told me it will take them at least 5 business days to get that ready, so if you need one better act quick.

What I did was to add in a field and selected "employment" as the activity. Then in the next blank where you can give job titles I typed "Unemployed / Looking for Job". For employer then typed "Not applicable'.

Yes, I work in Canada. I landed here just 2 months back on work permit.

I though that those with jobs in Canada don't need to show proof of funds.
Isn't that truth?

Actually it is true. However, this document is mandatory document when you file your Express entry application online.

But you don't need to have this money ( for 3 people is something like 18k as I remeber) if you are in canada and you have a work for quite long time. Am I right?
I am confused now so that why asking stupid questions/

On the CIC website it indeed did say that as long as you have a valid job offer or you are already working in Canada on a valid work permit then you don't need to show proof of funds; however, you still need to provide CIC with your Financial Profile. I assume CIC uses the profile to gauge your financial situation although you don't need to show proof funds because in the Financial Profile the bank will have to list all your accounts as well as statements of the past 6 months.

Why do you need bank statements from India, how long have you been in Canada?

I am sure money is not needed. However, the Financial profile has to be submitted irrespective of whether you have job offer or not. Moreover, until you give this statement it doesn't allow you to pay the fee.
