Make an effort to remember. It's important.

thanks :) I'm trying to but it's not easy ! i've looked in all my previous bills and everything and can't find the unit number of my first year of univerisity as well as my last one ! i remember the address not just the unit number :/
So I turned 18 on May and went to Canada in September , so in the personal history should I put the period between May and September as unemployed ? technically i just graduated from High school and wsan't looking for a job or anything ! . thanks

I just noticed the following in the details your name:

IELTS Request: Upfront
Med's Request: Upfront

What does this upfront mean in both cases?

For Express Entry applicants, IELTS and Medical are done upfront.

I mean not waiting for CIC to request for these unlike in paper applications (before launch of EE Program) where candidates had to wait for request from CIC

I have uploaded it without CIC requesting me to do it.

what happens once you submit the post ITA questionnaire ? I'm still missing some info , if i wait until next week to submit it , is that gonna be a problem ?
thanks

When you click next, they will ask you to upload documents. You have to upload work reference letters, proof of funds, PCCs, personal documents (like passports), education info (in my case, they asked for diplomas), etc etc etc.

oh okay sweet thanks ! so i wouldn't be able to access the questionnaire anymore ?

You will be able to go back and access/edit the questionnaire 'online application' even after you click 'Next' and were on 'Supporting Documents' page.

Congrats everyone who got ITA....I got ITA after a really long wait (am a Feb 2, 2016 OINP applicant)...

Have a few queries:

1. Military Background - anyone has a military background (or their spouse), can you please share what comes up in the Document Checklist? My husband is ex-IAF and we have filled his details in the Personal History, but not sure what documentation will be asked, so in case anyone has the Doc Checklist, please advise.

2. Qatar PCC - My husband was in Qatar from 2004-06, and he got the PCC issued last year. Unfortunately, we did not notice the mistakes in the PCC until we got ITA. For example, his name is written as "sandeep singh gill bal gill", where as his name is sandeep singh gill , ad the remaining part is his fathers partial name. In addition, they have not written nationality, passport number, reason for PCC etc.... they have mentioned Visa Reference No (of one of the multiple visas he was issued in 2004-06 to travel to Qatar). We reached out to the concerned authorities, and they said that name will not be corrected as its like that on his VISAS also. Further, processing time is 4-6 months. We are thinking of writing a Letter of Explanation, as we have a valid PCC with us, except that the Qatari authorities issue it the way they have given us.

3. Eye colour - Mine is like most Indians (Dark Brown), but no option - only Black and Brown. Husband's Eye colour - Light Brown - again, the options are Brown / Hazel. :-) Not sure how important it is to be accurate for this!!

Thanks,
Kanika

Hi!

Firstly Congratulations on your ITA.
While I don't have straight answer to your Q-1, for PCC I can say is attach the PCC as far as it was issued less than six months ago. All GCC are very particular about names (which not particularly same for us Indians) and they won't change. All you can do is put this in the LOE.

As for eye color I'm also in similar trouble, but since no option, I'm selecting Brown. Hope they don't mind.

I see a lot of people have submitted applications....Hoping to do it soon myself too...proof of funds left
