Do we have a Whatsapp group for 57th draw ITA recepients?

Hello all,

I have question regarding travel history post ITA.
First:
CIC is asking about my past 10 year travel history form my country of origin(INDIA) or country of Residence.
As i came on student visa in Canada in 2013, should i mention this as a trip to Canada from India and say it is still ongoing and purpose will be study.

Second about intended work
Has ABC been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit for at least one year.
As there are no punctuation mark in statement i interpret this question in two ways.
1) did I work for atleat one year with the employer mentioned on my current WP. (Ans will be NO as I have Open Work permit) ( Has ABC been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit, for at least one year)
2) did I work for at least one year with the employer since I got my work permit. ( Ans will be yes as I did not change my job from beginning) (Has ABC been working full-time for the employer, on their current work permit for at least one year)

Option 2) make no sense for me as they did not state employer as current employer or any employer in case someone changed their job multiple time in past.

Thanks
Rajinder Singh

Dear All,

I am very new to this forum. I have recently received an ITA on 24th Mar 2017 (57th draw) but not accepted it yet as have some urgent queries which needs to be clarified with the experience people like you. I appreciate if you could kindly support me in getting an answers for the below queries.

1) While accepting an ITA, what will be the details to be provided? Address History, Travel History and Personal History, right?

2) Me and my hubby have recently (within the last 4 months) got renewed passports with our hometown address in Haryana on them, we live in Gurgaon/Delhi since last 10 years. So, in an Address history (in ITA), should we provide our Gurgaon/Delhi address or the hometown address ? In case it is advised to use Gurgaon/Delhi address, do we need a separate PCC for Gurgaon/Delhi as the recent PCC for our passports was done by PSK (Haryana) in our hometown.
2a. Do we need to provide rent agreement/rent receipts for the last 10 years for the address other than our hometown? Do they (CIC team) verify each and every address?
2b. PCC is sufficient from the PSK or it has to be done from the local police station? If PSK, Which address we need to provide in the application?
2c. My hubby also need a PCC from UK as he was in London. They ask for 10 years addresses. So, which addresses should we mention on the application? Hometown or Gurgaon/Delhi?
2d.Do they (CIC) verify addresses from the IT return/PAN number (HRA exemption)?

3) I have total of 6+ years experience in the Primary Occupation (EE profile) and got points as per that. Can i resign now from my job or it could be a problem in PR?

4) For POF, can we show PF amount for both (Principal applicant and Spouse)? And, can we also show PPF amount (Public Provident Fund) on spouse name if we can get a letter from the bank stating the amount which could be withdrawn immediately (PPF account is 16 years old)?

5) After an ITA, how do we get an instruction for the Medical to be done? Does CIC confirm where to get it done or do we need to choose on our own?

6) Do we need to upload all the docs while accepting the ITA or later on? What should be the size of each document in each section (i.e. Education docs, Work history etc.. etc..)?

I know its a long list but would be highly thankful to all the people in Forum if they can help on any of these queries.

Cheers!

never thought it should be a problem.. guess your manager is not cool about you applying for immigration.

Yeah... He'll go all mad if he comes to know abt this. Is there any other reason that I can tell him why I need the reference letter for?

In your ITA letter, does it say you are invited under PNP or CEC?

PNP

Guys, whom should the letter of reference from the employer be addressed to? or we can just write "to whomsoever it may concern"?

We just got the PCC (over the counter) for both myself and my wife from different passport offices (within Delhi). My passport had her name added as spouse whereas her's did not and even the address on her passport was different (pre-marriage). She was carrying a copy of my passport and also the original and submitted these as the proof of address. Other than this, nothing else was required. If you can, maybe you can take along the marriage certificate as well.

There was no issue in her getting the PCC issued basis only my passport copy and original. Hope that helps.

Regards,
Deepak

Deepak I am facing a similar conundrum.

We dont have each other's name on our passports but we have the marriage certificate and are using the same passports we were using before our marriage.

Now, I have got my PCC successfully done but somebody told me that my wife needs to have my name on her passport along with the address then only her PCC will be done.

Correct me if I am wrong, the whole idea of asking for a PCC is that the concerned person should not be criminally implicated at any stage of his/her life.

So whats the fuss about names on each other's passports?

Somebody with experience please clarify. I have only about 2.5 months left and as we are expecting our baby next month, so getting fresh passports is a bit tedious.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rupinder,

I have altogether different question for you.
How will you manage visa for your baby?

In my opinion, you should decline this ITA. Apply for new Tatkal passports with spouse names added. Apply for your baby's passport as soon as within couple of days of birth. Update your profile to show newborn as dependent and then only accept the ITA.

I had put my file on 22nd and have 486 points. Does that mean I'm going to get an ITA?

Did you receive the ITA?
