Hi Everyone, hope you are all doing well and wish you all the very best.

I received my ITA in the Jan 25 EE draw.
I'd like to know how many (approx) of the no. of applicants in a particular draw to receive an ITA on 25th Jan make it to the final PR?
What role does one's NOC play in improving one's chances for converting an ITA into a PPR?
I have applied under NOC 0111. I have a total work-ex of almost 10 years (starting 2007) with the current one starting from 2009. For my jobs before the current one, I might not be able to retrieve reference letters owing to time elapsed (almost 8 years ago). Will that have any adverse impact on my application? if so can I take any remedial measures?

You can always email or call the Ottawa office. From the FSW-O April-May AoR thread I follow, most of us sent emails to CPC Ottawa: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca to inquire about (1) application status, (2) local visa office assignment if you think your file was transferred to an LVO for load-sharing reasons. Include the following on your email--
Subject line: application number

Body of email:

Per principal applicant and dependent, include the following details:
1. UCI
2. Full name
3. Relation to principal applicant, if dependent
4. Date of Birth

If you think it will help, order GCMS notes as well, but do it soon since it takes a while to reach you. This will help you figure out details about your file that would likely not be answered in a regular email or call to CIC.
