Hello everyone, need urgent help, I received my stamped passport on 14 th December 2023 and after 4 days my wife gave birth to a child. After contacting Ircc they asked us to submit child documents which we did. It's been almost 1.5 months there has been no response. Can anyone in this group please help on this matter. Is there any group you guys could refer me to.
Unfortunately, adding a new child to pr application will take time. I saw people getting it done in 6 months or more. they will open the file and add your child then request medical and updated proof of fund. so you have to be patient. keep an eye on your GCkey and make sure your child is added to the dependents list.
Is 6 months the normal time or can I expect that it could be done within 2-3 months. Do I need to raise webform after every month or should I wait for their response?
Hi everyone! Finally got the long awaited update today. It all happened at once. Eligibility complete March 27, background check complete March 27, and got the email today as well to log in to the PR portal and confirm our information and status so they can start making the PR card. Also got the COPR document dumber. Finally!!!!!!
This is based on what I have seen in cases like that. your processing could be quicker. I think if they already asked for the child's documents, this means that they are working on your case.

Firstly, I’d like to extend my congratulations on your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR). Like you, I have also received a Request for Visa (RFV). I’m curious about the IRCC office to which you sent your passport for stamping. If it’s not too much trouble, could you share the timeline from when you submitted your passport to when it was returned? I frequently travel for work and have a trip coming up in three weeks. I appreciate your help in this matter.

Hi, mine seems to be in-progress as well. On the tracker, the BG check is in progress since 30-Jan. Haven't received an update yet.
