ITA document Submission - Employment Record

Hi all,

I just went through the documents to be submitted for proving my past and current employments. I came to know that we should be submitting a reference letter in Company letterhead mentioning the roles and responsibilities I held during my stay in that company.

I have 5.9 years experience in IT. My first company HR denied giving me this NOC and my Manager either refused to provide me affidavit.
1) Can I ask my colleague who is still with my past company and holding a "Consultant" designation, to provide this affidavit? Is it mandatory that the person should be a Manager/Team Lead?

2) My 2nd company Manager is fine to provide an affidavit but he does not hold a business card. Is business card a mandatory document? Can I submit his Company ID card (which will not have his designation but)?

Thanks in advance....

I can only comment on the second issue. I didn't notice any requirements concerning business cards on cic website. Also, I had a consultant review my application before submitting and she also didn't tell me that a BC is needed..(I didn't include the BC )

Thanks. So to confirm, do you mean that you just submitted the notarized reference letter from your supervisor/colleague and no other supporting document ?

I didn't notarize it. It was in English, so no transportation was needed either (if your referee speaks English well, no need to write it in native language so that I heard.) I just submitted one letter from my Head of HR on the official letterhead, signed by HR and stamped with the company seal. The letter included my responsibilities, salary, dates of employment. (I've just submitted two weeks ago, so they are still reviewing it though). The consultant looked at the letter and said it was fine.

I just followed what the instructions says next to the field in my personal document checklist, mine didn't say it should be notarized ,but may be it depends on the country? Anyway, I would just follow the official instructions and not invent extra stuff .

Ok got it.. I am in a situation where my HR has denied giving this letter. So my only option is to get it from my manager/colleague and I guess I have to notarize in this regard.
