Hi guys,
Are the canada guys strict about digital photo requrements. I was thinking to ask a friend to click photo in front of a creamish wall and edit on my computer. Thoughts?

I wouldn't risk this for the digital photos; there are also certain guidelines in terms of resolution, background color, and size for the photo on CIC. Also I think it should not be a huge problem getting it professionally done? (similar to photo submitted to the Company when you start working)?

we used our smart phone, white wall and a passport photo android app which alters the pic for canada specifications. did the job.

I am not answering these kind of questions anymore.

(for ita photo)
My photo was taken in a white background, but picture resulted in grayish color. my photographer edited the photo background to white. will this be acceptable??

Why don't you just spend a little money and get your photos taken by a professional. You are not spending crazy money like for IELTS or for ECA.

our photos were actually taken from a studio by a "professional" photog. initially, i showed him the specifications according to cic requirements and missed a lot with regards to pixels & face size. I end up resizing it again Myself using photoshop (it's ok now).

now another thing is, i just noticed he edited the background to white bec the photo was originally in gray background. welpp

No, the rules clearly state that a background cannot be edited/photoshopped to be completely white.
