ITA Deadline changed

Hi,

I received the Invitation to Apply on Nov 2, and had 60 days time to apply. CIC changed the time to 90 days since then, but said that it will not apply for ITA that have already been sent out.

However, I noticed in the CIC homepage / dashboard that my time to respond to ITA has been extended to 75 days, instead of 60 days. But there is no formal email confirming this.

At this point, should I abide by 60 days time limit, or take my time of 75 days as shown in the system?

PS: I tried calling CIC but it's difficult to connect from outside Canada.

To be safe try to submit within 60 days.

There were 15 days added due to the issues in submitting payment after the November 19th changes. You should have received an email about this (I did). So you should be fine submitting within the 75 days. But of course, if you can do it within the original 60 days then better do it then 8)
