Hi ,
I need some help , someone who has submitted their application and has gotten their PR. I received the ITA last cycle and after filling in the details in the application I saw a list of documents I am expected to upload. It says employment records-
You must provide proof of wok exp for your current job and each past position you listed. Proof myst include a reference letter from your employer and pay stubs, if you have them. The reference letter must-
- be an official document printed on company letterhead.
-include your name, the company contact information, the signature of your immediate.
-Show all positions held while employed at the company.
-Include these details- job title, duties/responsibilities, job status ( if current job), the dates you worked for the company, the number of work hours per week and your annual salary plus benefits..

My question is the last one where it says job title, duties , responsibilities- is it just for the current job or for previous too.
For all the employers- I have the offer letter and the relieving letter. Please help.

Your reference letters must contain all of that information for all jobs you are claiming points for.

So if you're claiming points for 4 jobs, then you need 4 reference letters that contain all of that information.
 
Thank you for the prompt reply! I'm in the CEC category and I just checked the points breakup and see that 50 points have been awarded for the foreign work experience and 40 for the Canadian work experience. So from what you are saying, I would need the letter from all the employers?

Payslips and T4 for Canadian employers may help if they are unwilling to provide reference letter.

These are 'required' documents for Canadian work experience in any case, they cannot replace the letter of employment, which is crucial for the job duties and responsibilities... If you can't get the letter, you will have to find some alternative way to get a 3rd party to attest to the skilled work experience (e.g. duties and responsibilities). A letter from a co-worker or client sometimes helps...
