There are many famous job sites like monster.ca , Workopolis.ca, indeed.ca etc (many more you can find through google but your real friend will be LinkedIn and recruiters on it. Build a good looking profile on linkedin and add the local recruiters. Very few companies hire directly in Canada, most of them rely on recruiters to find them good resources and that's why recruiters will have information on more job openings. Recruiting agencies like Randstad and Kelly Services are also good resources to check. There are a ton of resources for creating effective resumes and profiles on internet so a simple google search will get you started.perukulla said:can someone respond how is your experience of finding a job in telecom/networking fields in canada? what are the job sites or companies to look for?
what is the interview experience? will they consider if you apply before landing there? what is the format of resume to be prepared for applying for canadian companies? pls.....respond... i am from similar domain.
On the other hand, don't count too much on the possibility of finding job before landing. Unless you are super skilled in some very niche domain, chances are you will not be hearing back from company or the recruiter as soon as they'll know you are not in country. In this competitive market, who would wanna take a chance on hiring someone who may or may not arrive in country when they can hire a person who is right here? Besides many jobs require background check that can only happen when you are registered with the system here (SIN etc.).
Few organization are offering some bridging programs to help newcomers in finding job. You'll find few here (http://www.ictc-ctic.ca/?page_id=1779) and can search for more as well.
