It seems like people with LMIA or PNP will rule the entire EE system.

Hi all,

It does seems like people with LMIA or PNP will rule the EE system.

This is also from another news article with CIC proposing they will reduce the 2015 LMIA qty down to 75% that of year 2012
Which narrows down to about (202,510-151,00)/4=12,863 LMIA will be issue in 2015.

12,863 people will definitely receive ITA.

23,000 CEC cap + 51,000 FSW cap = 74,000 Total.

Seems like we have hope....? after 11 months.. to run out all LMIA/PNP people with average of 800 draws....

Simply not enough time for a lot of us whose time are running out with PGWP or TFWP's

2015's cap for PNP is 5,200 nominations.

18,063 people will definitely receive ITA.

Can you please give a link to the news article you're referring to?

I guess you can replace the dots with spaces (like this: www google com), and the link will come through. If it fails for some reason, please PM the link to me, I'll post it.

I also read somewhere, that if one has a job offer, then their immigration application does NOT count towards the FSW/FST immigration targets.

They are counted separately.

The 47k - 51k immigration target for FSW/FST is separate from PNP.

PNP immigration target for the year 2015 is 46k - 48k according to Notice – Supplementary Information to the 2015 Immigration Levels Plan

The 5,200 figure is from PNP immigration target for just one province, for the year 2015.
Awesome. Thank you for this info. I knew I saw this somewhere during research but couldn't find it. Thanks! more hope on us!

You're absolutely right. but I'm just basing on worst case scenario. The latest update from ESDC shows only the 2nd quarter of 2013... unless you have a source feel free to share with us. :)

But they made changes on LMIA just in 2014, and that reduced the number of LMiA issued. So it should be 75% less from 2013 numbers right?

This is under the assumption that they'll continue to take ~800 persons in each draw.

But the thing is, we don't know that. There are still kinks being ironed out.

I would expect that they're now working to decrease the 2013-2014 backlog before they amp up the ITAs.

Let's see how many are issued in the next couple draws.
