Issues about spouse's common law relationship

My spouse has lived with her ex bf for around 3 years together in canada before i met her, therefore it should be consider as a common law relationship.

I know that we have to stated in the form IMM0008 Question 14, What should i put under Q14 part c type of relationship? Also are there any more follow up we need to do? for example going to a law firm stating that she has been separated from her ex boyfriend?
