Hey Gymie, I agree that gap isn't a concern but I meant it in this case specifically. As anyone with longer gap becomes a Potential Migrate in the view of a case officer, so you need to have a strong case to justify your study plans, past track record and strong finances.
I have also come across people who have secured VISA after 10-12 years of gap. And thats why I advised the candidate here to re-apply by changing her present scenario. As most of the VO know that students prefer to stay back after their course completes but like EE, they will want highly competent people to stay back. The Comprehensive Ranking System was designed to get the best of the lot by evaluating on a point scale and PNP is predominantly based on your level of establishment and financial, educational background.
Although My suggestion can be a bit upfront and candid but I want the candidate to better all the previous mistakes in order to avoid future repetitions. With increasing rejections, its becoming a cause of worry for all aspiring students. And I sure blame it on the agents.
My advice is to leave no room for errors.
