Issue with Job Bank Services "Your Express Entry information must be revalidate"

Hi all,

When I login to Job bank, the dashboard is not visible. Instead there is a notification requesting me to update Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

When I try to update the required fields I get the following error msg "Error: You have entered an invalid Express Entry Profile Number and/or Job Seeker Validation Code. To avoid errors, you should copy and paste these codes directly from the message in your MyCIC account. If you are still having problems registering with Job Bank using these codes, please go to CIC Help Centre at http://cic.gc.ca/english/contacts for more information."

I can see that the Job Bank profile is Active. So I am assuming that this should not impact the EE profile/application. The page was updated on 18th Dec so it may be a technical issue. Anyone else facing this issue.?

Hi Joel

M facing same issues since more than a week
But I guess it's due to our nominations that they have might frozen our account
Because on CIC site it written that you have to register on job bank if you had said NO to valid job offer or nominations on your profile
So I guess it's means that's those who has valid job offer or pnp nominations than you don't need to register on job bank
But anyways m gonna call CIC after Christmas just to figure it out what's going with the job bank issues

I do not have arranged employment or Provincial nomination. I think it has to do with the recent update on Job bank (18th Dec). Please do update others when you've called CIC.

My problem is EXACTLY the same. I see in the bottom of the page that the last update of the JobBank was on 18-Dec, that might be a problem. Frankly speaking, I haven't logged in to JobBank for a month or so, and now I just don't understand what's the reason.

By update I mean the page update date. As @apagov mentioned, the webpage shows page update date on 18th Dec. The last time I logged in to Job bank was over a month ago. So I believe something went wrong during the page update.

Other forum members should also check their job bank page if they have not logged in for some time.

Now anytime you need to recreate your EE profile, you need not deactivate your existing job bank account.
Simply recreate your new EE profile and update the EE number and job seeker code in your job bank account, your new EE gets validated in 24 hours.
I have just done this 3 days back, so I thought of sharing this news about this facility which is hassle free.

Yea I noticed that too but same issues are with my one of the friend but he simply enter his Details and his account Started working right away and he didn't have LIMA nor nomination but I think this issues are only with the people whose files are under process
So i guess it might be something wrong with other things if you come across something than please let me know or else If I can get will inform you

Ok thanks for sharing but I can't recreate the profile because my profile is already under process
M trying to contact job bank or CIC after Christmas so that we can get accurate answer about it

Even I am facing the same issue, I am unable to log into Job Banks since last 1 week due to the same error. When I contacted Job Banks, they replied to me saying that my Job Seeker Code has expired & I need to contact CIC. Does anyone has any idea as to when does the Job Seeker code expire? My problem is that I can't create a new EE profile as my application is already under processing (Oct-AOR) & I desperately need to find a job to expedite the process as don't have any provincial nomination.

Please follow these instructions.

Just go to the letter which u received from CIC before receiving your "CONGRATULATION" letter.
on that letter go to
To register with Job Bank:
over there
your Job Seeker validation code:
is available in digits form.

then go back to your jobbank account and enter your express entry reference number and then that code from this letter.
thats all u r done. 8)

The problem is that this code doesn't work anymore.

I have the same problem, and application is processing, so I can't start a new profile. However, I think it shouldn't be a big problem as long as the account is active.

i think u r using that code which came in email. but i m talking about code which came earlier then this.
i have already tried to one the friends application and it works fine.
