Issue regarding visa

Hi today I got my Visa stamped from embassy. My course length is of 3 years but on the visa stamp the expiry date is of 1 year only. Can someone pls clarify what I'll have to do now.

When does your passport expire? Please refrain from posting the question multiple times.

The date on the visa indicates how long you have to enter Canada and activate your study permit. Nothing to do with the length of your studies.

Neither. You will be issued an INITIAL study permit at entry. If you want a new TRV, you will need to apply for one later on.
