Issue of Work Permit with SINP with employment offer on Process

Do you have any advise if it will be possible and easier to get a work permit under SINP: International skilled worker with employment offer? wanted to see if there is a chance of approval or rather denial if the applicant is a visa overstayer in US and will cross the border to entry for the PNP nomination.

What will be your best advise if, should it be better to wait for the PR before entering Canada though the employer paid for the work permit compliance inorder for the worker to come and work earlier or wait for the PR release?

Hello, I am also nominated by SINP (outside canada) instead of applying for PR, I choose to apply for a work permit since in for country, processing for PR will take up to 16-18 months while a work permit application will have only 8 weeks of procesaing time. Employer needs me to work as soon as possible. Hope this helps.
