Islamabad Embassy Time Lines

Hello everyone,

I submitted my spouse sponsorship application in Mississauga office in April 2010 and got acceptance in May 2010. Accordingly my spouse (wife) received letter from Canadian Embassy in Islamabad (Pakistan) in the end of May 2010 and in the letter it was mentioned that the case will take 9 months. But now 10th month has been started but no response yet from the CA Embassy.

Do any one know (or have experience), how much time Canadian Embassy is taking now a days for spouse sponsorship cases.

In addition, I added my newly born daughter on the same file in September 2010. Will this family addition cause any further delay in processing?

Follow the thread below for applicants applied through CHC Islamabad. On average, female cases are taking 14-18 months, and male cases are taking 18-24 months...
