So I mailed CEC about status of my file and reply was that its under review status. And its in queue for review.Are there are people from sept and october whose file are under review. It will be good if you can post here so we know how much time they are taking..

Mine was recieved on 31st oct n under review as per notes on 29 june..do u mind sharing the reason for being under review. Its been year for you did you try contacting them..I ordered GCMS today only to see if my file move a bit.
Also I am sure your file will be seen before mine or some one who submitted on 15 oct..kindly keep us updated.
I hope once we pass 12 month they dont reject the applications as its a lot of time which has been wasted

The reason was Job duties partially matching with NOC that I applied for.Yes even I hope that since its been so long ,the decision will be on a positive side.Fingers crossed

I applied in jan 2013. When I asked what is the status of my application in June, they replied that it is in queue for review by an officer . What does that this mean?

I didn't have roles and responsibilities in my employment letter that I sent with my application. I sent an updated letter in June, which is added to my file according to the gcms notes. However, so far, I don't see any notes regarding my job / duties in the last section. I married in sept - I added my wife immediately after.

They have not acknowledged addition of my spouse so far. It's been ~1 month. Too worried what's happening.

This wait is killing me now...some one on this forum suggested that usually if u waited for 12 13 months u der review ur file will have high chances of rejection ...if cic would have rejected me in 8 months ..I would have new application AOR by this time .....

Dude, all you can do is wait. Either wait or withdraw your application.
