Is Visitor visa valid even after passport renewal?

My Canadian V1 (visitor) visa is expiring on Dec 7th 2013. I want to renew my passport now. Will I be able to use my same visa after passport renewal or will I need to get a new visa processed & stamped?

Hi
You have to print your visa in your new passport. I was in the same situation and I had to send some requirements: a form, to pay some money and photos. I don't know in which page the process to do that is. I went to a private agency authorized by the embassy in my country and they did all.

You can renew your passport then vist any authorized ambassy agents and ask them to apply for changes in SP by updating your new passport number on it.. Hope this helps...
