Hi everyone,

I was hoping if someone could help me out with this. I am currently planning to do my masters in Finance in UK and then move on to Canada for job as I don’t have sufficient 16 years of education to move to Canada. Will Canada accept my degree for jobs?

Depends on the jobs and whether or not you need a professional qualification for them.

In general, a degree from the UK should be recognized, unless its from a fake university.

Thank you . Actually I have done my Bachelors in Business Management (BBM) and specialization was in International Business in India with a total of 57%. Then I worked for 1 year in finance securities as a Trade analyst . After working I got an interest to do CFA. So planned to do Masters in finance where they teach us regarding CFA related and then move on to Canada and do CFa and settle. Is it appropriate ? Can you please guide me?

Why don’t just do your CFA. Are you attending a well known public university in the UK? If you do a degree from a school like LSE it will be helpful for employment in Canada but if you do an online degree from an unknown school then it won’t be helpful. If you have been working in trading is Canada really the best option for you? Canada is a small country and can’t absorb all the finance people who are immigrating from around the world.
