Is transit visa required for USA!?! In a dilemma...plz help!

Hi guys im travelling to Canada on 28th via Washington by United Airlines. I need to know whether a transit visa is required -

I land in Washington at 6 50am and my flight to Toronto departs at 8 13am. I already hold a B2 visa for the US which is valid till 2019....

Please let me know if anyone has information on this!!! ???

Buddy now your ticket has been booked. Yes you need a transit visa but dont panic just call the us consulate which is close to you and get the transit visa

If you have B2 USA visa then you won't need another visa. But if you don't have any kind of USA visa you need to apply for Transit visa worth 160$ which you have to apply for and you will not get it instantly.

okkkk im confused....some ppl are saying that Transit visa is required some are saying its not since i have the B2 visa....

i dno what to do....neways booked a flight with etihad for the 7th....this means i will miss 3 days of classes hopefully thats ok i dno...


my booking with United Airlines is still open for the 28th....will call the US embassy tmo and find out from them...if its required will just go by etihad! ???

oops sorry u have a B2 visa? then u dont need a transit visa

you won't need visa if you already have one no problem if its B2 or transit. You can also confirm by emailing airlines or calling

You don't need transit visa for us if you holding b2..
I hold b1/b2 valid till 2022 and last year I visited Canada via New York so I had no issues. I filled in their form as TRANSIT. So don't worry.
