Is TOEFL accepted ??

Guys,

I have a question. Does anyone who has filed with TOEFL score got student visa ?? Is TOEFL accepted in Canada ?

I have seen many universities accepting TOEFL along with IELTS. You need to write to university about this

Will there be any problem in getting a visa stamped. I heard that embassy dont accept TOEFL score it seems.

I highly doubt it. Because IELTS/TOEFL are required by Universities not by the visa officer. Plus TOEFL is recognized worldwide. However If you have not attempted the test, it is better to do IELTS. Don't do it if you have any doubts.

Hi,
I got into UBC as well as General Category Visa (in July 2014) with a TOEFL score only.
I did not give IELTS at all. So that should be fine.

TOEFL works for visa as well.. I had sent a mail to CIC a few months back this is the reply i got from CIC. Here is the thread where i posted the same question.
