Yes - it would certainly give you more than that. It would give you a criminal record.neutral said:Giving $10k to the judge would give you more chances than that.
I couldn't agree more!scylla said:Yes - it would certainly give you more than that. It would give you a criminal record.
Actually you can't. The current old rule states that you must be PR for at least 2 years. So you cannot apply for citizenship after you become PR. Your application would get denied.neutral said:It's true. You can even apply just the day after you become Permanent Resident.
The only way to get your Citizenship application denied is after you have APPLIED for the Citizenship, so briefly indeed, yes, you CAN apply.screech339 said:Actually you can't. The OP subject is very clear and ask whether you can apply or not, not if Citizenship will be grantedbuddhaB said:haha hey bully dumb-fcuk.that person also knows he can apply. His question is whether his application can ever be considered eligible or not.
Yes in a sense that you can apply if you want to apply the literal sense that anyone can apply. Sure anyone can apply for citizenship, even your pet (you can complete the application on behalf of your pet).neutral said:The only way to get your Citizenship application denied is after you have APPLIED for the Citizenship, so briefly indeed, yes, you CAN apply.

My post was directed at neutral's post that anyone can apply even though they don't or can't qualify. Not at the OP at all.CanadianCountry said:Why are people being so mean to the OP? Pet, really??
If I am reading your post correctly, you will gather 1095 days in mid July than you will have no choice but to apply under the new citizenship rule.kingadil said:Guys after reading this post i got more confused

I didn't provided any information. I am responding to your post.kingadil said:According to the information you provided, you meet the basic residence requirement but you have not been physically present in Canada for at least 1,095 days (three years) in the four years (1,460 days) preceding the date of your application.According to the information you provided and assuming nothing else changes, you will accumulate 1,095 days of physical presence on 2015-07-17.
You do meet the basic residence requirement and can apply, short of 1095 days. However you will likely be put on a long non-routine application process eventually sent to the citizenship judge. Judges have been known to be applying Actual Physical Presence Test to grant citizenship or not.kingadil said:Guys after reading this post i got more confused
