is this some big mistake, in study permit

Hii guyzz,

I applied on 15 October online study permit for M.eng Dalhousie university.
The problem is in mycic account , applicant name is wrong. I checked all the forms I filled( study permit, family information, consultant form), in these all my name is correct. The $150 fee that I paid, the receipt I got for that, is also with correct name.

I don't know from where did this wrong name came.


2nd thing.
In study permit, study category I selected is "others", but I should haved filled University-masters.

My agent, told, they name is matched through passport.


Please tell, whether I should stay calm or contact visa authority

What prosecution, can you please elaborate it. Is that I am in a major trouble.

My agent is saying, if embassy is having any confusion, they will contact me. I am failing to understand from where did this spelling mistake came. In all the forms, loa, loan letter, academic docs ,passport my name is correct. Even the cic account shows the correct name.

Just the applicant name has wrong spelling.

If only the applicant name is the problem dont worry i suppose its your agents mistake and they are now covering it up , and providing false information leads to prosecution dont worry hope everything turns good in your case you may receive a call from them

You almost gave me a attack with that prosecution thing. It is a spelling mistake, for example a person having name"joseph" and it is showing "joeph". One letter is missing.

What about the study Category thing. If you have any knowledge.

In study permit form, there is a category.for intent of study, there I have to select , my level of study. I should have selected "university master" , but I filled "others"..
I am applying for Master of engineering

That won't cause a big problem don't worry if any problem arises they will call you I don't see anything with big problems I your case don't worry just remain positive and stop counting days just stay calm

No need to worry about it, First they can observe your correct name on all the docs and if they have confusion you will receive call or email for clarification. Second, They will take a closer look on your offer letter to check the program and university.
