I just recieved an email saying:

"As you are destined to the province of Quebec, we cannot commence processing your application until we receive Quebec Immigration Approval (CSQ/Engagement) We usually receive our visa office copy of the approval from the Quebec Government MICC. To date on your application, we have not received Quebec Immigration Approval, if you have received, the CSQ/Engagement, please forward us a copy of these documents."

I just wanted to check that this is normal? We only received the letter from Immigration last week to let us know we can proceed and apply for my Certificate of Selection Quebec. The application has been sent, and I am hoping that MICC will them send this information to London? Why are they telling me they have not received it yet, it has only been a week.

I think it is because the micc is suppose to be done first, but dont quote me i just seen in the feb thread guys going through Quebec and they did their micc first.

I was unable to do the MICC bit until last week because you are required to send a copy of your letter from Immigration with the application, which I only received last week. I suppose they just sent it as a reminder that they are awaiting my CSQ. Thanks

That is normal..a few of my cousins went through Quebec and that's the letter they always send out as a reminder to basically get them the paperwork they need but you can't get the certificate without the letter from immigration so you are on the right track.

Thanks very much, thats good to hear :) I wasnt sure if I had missed something!
