Is this letter AOR or Sponsor Approval?

Hello,

I applied for PGP 2017 in second round of invitation. As of Dec 01, 2017, the tracking status on Online Services shows "Application Received".

Today, Jan 16, 2018, I (the sponsor) got the letter stating the following:

"Dear Sir/Madam:
This refers to your application to sponsor your parent(s) or grandparent(s) (PGP) under the Family Class.

Your application has been accepted under the intake cap for 2017.

Your application number is located below the date of this letter. You must quote this reference number in any future correspondence related to this file. This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment. Please keep a copy of this letter for your records."

After this they included information about using a representative.

I am confused if this letter is AOR or Sponsorship Approval. I would appreciate your help in understanding this document.

Any updates on this? I'm in the same boat.
BTW, is there any google doc. where everyone has listed their timelines? I'll be happy to share mine.

The link shared above seems to be for partner sponsorship not PGP, since it has Open Work Permit dates

- my online status has not changed yet (still says "Application Received" on September 26, 2017)
- I called cic and they said there was no updates and they had no clue when there would be one
