I don't know, but there is one from filipino forum who used "scripts" to track his e-cas. He did not checked his e-cas everyday. He just received an email and SMS only if there are any changes in his e-cas.. We asked him how he did that and he promised to share the tracker (scripts) once he land and is settled in canada.

Never give out the personal info you input on the ecas to ANYONE. As they can then act on your behalf & send an e-mail through the VO specific inquiry & make any change to your app.

STAY AWAY. :o

No it's not a crap, I just tried it, and it's work fine.
However I did some goggling before I tried it. You guys can check this forum:

Stay away! It sounds sinister to me. it's better to do it the safe way only.

I am staying away from this.

Sounds like a phishing scam.

No not safe, I'll gladly do it myself. This is not a good idea, giving those very important details to somebody we don't know... Let's not be naive. :D

Its fantastic! I was suspicious, but I signed up for it in March, because I was sick of checking my ecas every day.

It automatically signs into ecas every day and checks for any updates, and if it gets an update it sends you an email. I think the guy who developed it was also applying for canadian immigration so he developed it to make his life easier. I'd recommend it - it has saved me a bunch of time that would have been wasted otherwise

whether it helps or not, I don't think to share my important info regarding immigration to other whom I don't know. I had to do so much work to come to this stage and can't let it go to others. I can do it myself. Whenever I saw the website, question arised to my mind auotomatically and I did not put my info there.

If you read facts that you can not remove your infomation yourself after providing them and why it reqires my oroginal email address ?

Questions arises.......

My opinion is not to trust it.

100% agreed with cancer24

There's no way to prove it's legitimate, but I'd encourage anyone who thinks they might find the tracker useful to do a little googling, and decide for yourself. I've had over 800 people happily use it so far - if there were something weird going on you'd find people complaining about it. As is, all you'll find is people saying how useful they've found the free service.

Like some have mentioned, I made it simply for myself originally, and decided to improve it and share it with others for the benefit of all. I immigrated a few years ago, and am now applying for citizenship:

I had one third party audit the code to check the security already, and if anyone has a good knowledge of php/mysql programming and wants to look through the code, I'm happy to allow that.
