Hi there,

I am currently doing my Postgraduate from the UK and going to graduate this year. The reason why I don't have much work experience as I have continuing study record without any gaps till now. I have done 2 internships and some part-time work. Am I eligible for CEC program or Express entry?

If your work experience is only foreign then you're not eligible under the CEC program.

I am a continuous student, from school to college and straight after college to University. I don't have any gaps in my study and that is why I never got a chance to work full time. I don't have any work experience but have the qualification. Am I eligible for any of the Immigration schemes?

No - you're not. You need at least one year of full time paid work experience.

Not eligible for any Express Entry related programs.

If you wish to be eligible under the FSW program you need at least one year of continuous full-time (or the equivalent in part-time) paid skilled work experience (NOC 0, A or B)

If you are an UK citizen, you may quality for IEC. It would grant UK citizen an open work permit for up to 24 months, so you can accumulate work experience in Canada and then apply under CEC.
