Is this a fair assessment by IRCC?

I applied for visa from another country which is not my home country. My immigration status in that country is student. IRCC denied me a study permit to Canada because of my immigration status as student in that country. IRCC in qoutes:

```
  • The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
  • Your immigration status outside your country of nationality or habitual residence.``` - IRCC
You need to show ties to your home country, and show career opportunities when you return to home country. So you need to justify costs of program in Canada with a salary of xx when you return.
Thanks for the response.
I showed a lot of strong ties to my home country plus I had over 100,000 CAD as financial support for a one year program and I have already paid 1st semester tuition. Excluding the 100,000 CAD, I also included landed properties and cars. Honestly, If you read my statement of purpose, you would say it is flawless. It's just because my immigration status was student.
I also included salary for when I return to my home country. There is nothing you can think of that is not in my statement of purpose.
Those aren‘t strong ties. You can sell a car. You bought the properties yourself? The 100K is your own money? Strong ties are children, spouse, businesses and job offers. How old are you?
I also included a business of which i am one of its board of directors back home with documented proof. I also spoke about going home to get married after graduation in Canada and meeting my parents + cousins. I also spoke about an app that I developed and published for my home country with a picture of the app and how I was going to partner with the ministry of labor of my country to help spread awareness of the app.
The course I want to study in Canada is cybersecurity. I also included I would like to study this course in Canada to learn how to protect my app from cyberattacks. Go back home and educate the youth in my country on the dangers cyberattacks pose to our society.
What are your planned studies on Canada? (School and Program) What is your past education and work experience?
So you have no work experience? How can you show career advancement or progression? An app can be designed anywhere. Being on a board of directors is not a tie…you participate in meetings and can do that by zoom. You aren’t married. Honestly your profile is weak with no work experience so you can’t justify costs of program with job advancement or higher salary.
First of all I am a bachelors graduate of 2022 (graduated June 2022), trying to further my education in Canada by January 2023. I don't think work experience is of any relevance to my visa application. What other ties exactly am I expected to prove to the IRCC? As a fresh graduate I don't think I could conjure up any form of experience to support my case besides those that I have given. I obtained the immigration status in my current country of residence from being a student. I extended my visa by applying for a masters in computer science (A full scholarship + stipend) in my current country of residence but unfortunately education is really poor for international students due to marginalizing of minorities + the masters program is 3 years which is a long time. This visa extension, will also help me save money by not having to go back home to spend money on flight tickets and it is an unnecessary expense (why not go to Canada directly from my current country of residence).
Honestly, even my non - criminal record will be from my current country of residence because i turned 18 here. (From 2018 - 2022 Bachelors program).
Exactly that is the issue. A post graduate program is designed to expand on your work experience. You have no work experience nor are you applying from your home country (which you have no ties). Where are you currently studying because that is also an issue if you say the education is poor. It may not be equivalent to a Canadian education.
Order GCMS notes and find out full reasons for refusal. Maybe you need to apply to a Canadian Masters program. Why didn’t you consider this.
Agree that a master degree makes more sense in your case.
I believe it's too late for me to reapply for January intake since visa processes take too long. What do u think?
I don't know.. if that's me, I would go back to home country, wait and apply from there.
You mentioned about wasting your time in current resident country, so why wait there.
Both GCMS notes and apply for another study permit will take time.
