Hello everyone! My very first post here. If anyone have already asked this question, I am sorry that I couldn't find thread.

So, I am gathering all the documents to apply for PR in "Family class".....I believe. My Common- Law partner is going to be sponsoring me.
I was going to do Inland application but after considering the fact that I may need to go visit my family back home during the process, I am starting to think that it might be better to apply for Outland. Right now, I am living in Canada with my partner(my partner is Canadian citizen).

Now, when I see the Check list(IMM5589) "5. Class of Application"
Should I mark in the box which the line says 'I am currently living in Canada, and I am applying under the Family Class(not under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class ).

What is this (not under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class) mean????? My sponser is my Common-Law partner, is that mean my application cannot processed Outland?? But I think I am applying under Family Class. Is there any other Class called Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class? I am very confused.

If anyone can understand my question and give me some advise, that would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you for your reply!! Most likely I would leave Canada in Summer time like July. So will be 7-8 month after applying and for about a month.
If you keep it under a month and you already have an OWP you should be ok but it is of course always a risk.
