Is there anyway to check if CIC has called you?

On Friday, one of our missed calls was a "private caller". I have had immigration call before when I first applied for my extension and they called private. I can't remember if it was private number or private caller. Anyway, I am afraid that it may have been them and that my chance of fixing whatever they need is shot.

Has anyone here received or missed a call from CIC?
Is there a way to find out if they called? Could I call the call centre and find out?

I know that Vegreville doesn't usually start processing until 2 and a half months after your application is received and since it has only been a little over a month, I am hoping it is too early for them to call even if they wanted/needed to...ugh...this worrying is driving me crazy. ???

If they called and you missed it they will send a letter.And sometimes they try to call again.

Yeah well I am afraid it won't be a letter, just my application returned.

No if they were returning your app they would have done just that and not called.It could be anything a missed signature,or something else but since its so soon i doubt it was them at all.

Well they would have returned it if it had missing signatures but I have a copy of the application and everything that needed to be dated/signed is. Anyway, they probably haven't even looked at my application yet so I don't see why they would be calling yet.

Maybe it was just a telemarketer or at least I hope so. When did I ever think I would hope it was a telemarketer calling? Lol. I must be going crazy.

Love_Young if you just submitted your application I'm pretty sure they haven't even opened it so I don't think you have anything to worry about a missed call. It would be awhile before you hear anything from them

Well it has been a month and one week since I submitted it. I am hoping though that it is still too early. Just can't help but be nervous when I know that immigration calls private and I just happened to miss a private call.
