You just do not know why sure - probably these applications had been returned not because of 2008 form, but because of some particular mistakes - e.g. blanks, unclear information etc.

Even in the 2008 the difference with the 2010 form is tiny or minor... :)

Hi,
I have sent my application on 28 may by fedex and it will reach by tomw, but problem is that I have filled the old version of form 0008 and I just read somewhere in the forum that they will send back my application. is there anybody has such experience, in how many days they send back it or is there any solution for this.

lakhvinder

lakhvinder,

I know one applicant who sent 2009 version of IMM0008 and got AOR. I know one renowned agent of delhi who is still using this form. So just chill baby.

My case is almost same ! I have used the old version of Fee Payment Form - IMM 5620E. I have used the version of 08-2009 instead of 01-2010. The only difference is a new "Section A" where you have to input 'Name of principle applicant' and 'name & Address of payer (if different from principle applicant). My first CIO documents were sent on 25th & received on 31 May 2010. Please share your experience (if any).

Regards

Tonu

I am using an attorney and their office said since there are no big difference between the old and new it should be fine.
My attorney office had used the old version.

That's exactly what I am saying. The differences are really insignificant. There is nothing to woory about till there are some gaps, blanks or mistakes in filled forms... ;D

Thanks everybody.
So the conclusion is; version of the form doesn’t matter, only matters if it has been filled up in appropriate way and all the required information should be there.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Am sorry sir, but there is no relation between education and making mistakes….By ignorance we mistake, and by mistakes we learn……….
