Is there anyone who got a french interview, even though he/she got a socre b2 of tefaq?

Hi, guys.

as you see title (PEQ with school)
I'm very wondering that even if somebody has a score b2 of TEFAQ (both of them, listening and speaking),
QUEBEC government is calling them for having a french interview?

If it is true, It's really nonsense.
If they fail an interview, what is supposed to be next step for them?
Usually person who fail an interview, they are required to pass TEFAQ exam.

But this case, what should we do?

I passed TEFAQ exam with B2 level. but i got a mail from QUEBEC government. This mail is not about interview. It's something like this.

"We are studying your application. We don't know how long does it takes. However, we are sure that we will send a mail when we make a decision. Please wait for this decision before contacting us."

I have heard from my friends that if you get a mail something like this, it means that you will have a french interview. Because they saw same letter and people who got this mail, they all got an another mail about interview. Oh, my god.

Yes- there have been cases of interview after tefaq also.

MIDI will first get the recorded speaking conversation of tefaq from the test centre and after evaluationg it they will ask
the school to downgrade it. Then you will be called for interview and refused csq with a window of 20-60 days to prove
your french. They will also advise you to apply under Regular skilled worker program which is crap.

If they ask test centre to downgrade my score, I am not eligible person anymore because I don't have B2 for french.
It also means that I don't need to have an interview and my CSQ will reject automatically.

Did you really see this case that you mentioned about?
You don't need to see it but I know of many McGill students not getting any interview and some did get interview also.
Some passed and some failed. Also search this forum as someone had tefaq and was downgraded still.

Not aware. You need to ask the test centre or someone knowledgable

Hi, what happened to your case? Did you have the interview? I´ve heard MIDI has been calling people with Tefaq for interviews as well...
