2 May..it is in process frm 3dec,,I don't know why they take dat much tym to take one decision..

It takes a lot of time because they have many applications and a small staff. Also, the New Delhi office gets more fraudulent applications than most offices do, so they have to do a lot of investigating.

I js Hope,,got visa dis month,,coz mi medical will expire on 22 February..

Current processing time for New Delhi is listed as up to 15 months after sponsorship approval for 80% of applications: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp#asia

If your application takes more than 15 months after sponsorship approval, you should contact your MP. Right now, you are in inside the normal time frame. I know it seems like it is never-ending waiting, but it's normal, unfortunately.

If they finish the application soon, they can extend the medical for a few months. If not, they will ask for another medical when they are ready. None of us like all the waiting, but that is really the only thing you can do.
