Is there any fee to be paid when ITA is received?

And also would it be wise to create a new EE profile, before telling the agency to cancel the one they created for me? Would there not be any negative implication on this move? Cos I need to have an assurance first that the new EE profile submitted is successful before terminating the old one raised by the agency.

Try and avoid a long overlap between 2 active profiles. Create your profile and do not 'submit' the information - that will ensure that your new profile isn't in the pool. When you expect to receive confirmation about the agency withdrawing your profile, submit the new profile so that there is minimal overlap between 2 active profiles for the same person.

Thanks Asivad Anac for your thoughts! OR better yet, I would wait until the agency confirmed that they withdrew my EE profile, before I'd submit mine.
What do you think? For sure, the agency would receive an email notification from CIC perhaps that my EE profile raised by them is already cancelled, right? OR I would get them into writing confirming my EE profile withdrawal?

There is also a representative cancellation form (IMM 5476) that will suffice if you get it signed by your agency.

Thanks Asivad Anac! I actually asked the agency about IMM 5476, and I was advised, I only get to sign, and them as well.. only when ITA is issued, and when we are processing it. Something wrong here, is it? Because I thought the moment they lodged my EE profile, IMM 5476 should also be in placed. No wonder, I never heard of this form from the consultant.

Here's my next course of action.. I already emailed them of my intent to cancel their services, and I would create my EE profile on my own.. not submitting it yet [just saving it].. and once I have the confirmation that my existing EE profile is withdrawn, then I'd submit the new one.

Any thoughts on the above anyone? Feel free to comment.

Thank you all for the encouragement.

Yes, truly, I think I can create an EE profile all by myself, and even can go through the whole process given if ITA is issued (hoping), as long as I do things with due diligence. I mean, many former applicants had their Canadian dreams fulfilled by going through the process themselves.

I think I am all set if I create an EE profile on my own, after I'd give the agency the confirmation of terminating their services. Speaking of credentials, I have all the hard copies with me. When they created the EE profile for me, all they had were soft copies that I sent them.

To all who have gone through the EE profile all by themselves, and eventually processed the ITA all by themselves too.. your expertise will be highly appreciated. Your techniques, tips, feedbacks will be taken with high regard.

Hi jaci5_,
The people on this forum are always very helpful; I'm sure most if not all of us will be happy to serve as your 'consultants' as you complete your new EE profile. Good luck and let us know if you have any questions at all!

Can I do the post ITA payments from multiple visa debit cards as limit of each card isn’t enough to make the full payment?
