They are similar but different, DMC is what you get after end of each semester/Year that has marks of that particular semester or year.
Transcript however has all your detail makes from each semester on one sheet of paper.
If you are applying after bachelor's degree, you should submit your transcript (Some colleges do accept DMC's you will have to check)
If you are applying after high school, DMCs are accepted in every college/university
