Hi,
Banks in Canada do provide student loan (or a line of credit). Generally one needs to be present in Canada for that. I tried that option and the bank told me that the loan applicant needs to be physically in Canada
That said, I know of cases where MBA school has helped student obtain student loan directly (sith the student not yet in Canada)

if you are not PR/citizen u'll need a PR/Citizen co-signer ,thats what the banks told me when i tried for loan
