I applied for citizenship in oct 2021 and my wife is already a naturalized Canadian citizen since 2018.
Just curious if there are requirements to maintain Canadian citizenship if we decide to reside in our home country permanently in the future. TIA

There is no residency requirement once you are a citizen.

No. You would declare yourselves as non-residents.

The only residency requirement that would still apply would be related to provincial health care coverage. If you returned at any point, you should expect that you would need to live in Canada for 3 months before you would be covered by provincial health care again.
