all of my friends are paid bi-weekly so i am kind of worried if having semi-monthly payment would affect my PR application
in the future in terms of hours calculation
Thank you,

Thank you,
The intervals at which you are paid should not affect the number of hours you are working. I was paid semi-monthly and was working 8 hours a day. So I was working more than what was required to qualify.

CIC considers 30 hours a week as full time work. See here - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp

Hi minghang,
Having a bi-weekly payment does not affect the PR application.
Under the CEC, the applicant is not required to demonstrate settlement funds.

You may go through the following link for further understanding the selection criteria, Qualifying work experience under CEC category
