Is there a max waiting time?

Hello! I was wondering if there was a maximum waiting time for a TRV. I know my husband could be the 1 out of 5 who's application will take longer than the estimated processing time, as it has been over a month. I'm just wondering whether there is a maximum. Thanks!

No max. We see lots of cases where it takes a number of months.

Hi, everyone... I'm a little bit worried regarding my TRV online application. I sent my application last feb. 24,2016 and I haven't received any reply from CIC... .. Do i need to worry ?
